A merchant exporter is a single company that sources, quality-checks, and ships products on your behalf without owning a factory itself. For you, that means one team — ours — handles sourcing, quality control, documentation, and shipping, so you're not coordinating five separate vendors across two countries.
- You're a new company — why should I trust you with an order?
We offer direct founder involvement and full transparency instead of a long track record. Every shipment is personally reviewed before it leaves, and we share photos, documentation, and honest timelines at each stage — so you can verify quality yourself rather than take our word for it.
- Where is N J Trade and Exports based?
We're based in Hyderabad, India, and export from there to international buyers.
- What makes you different from a trading agent or middleman?
We take direct responsibility for quality and compliance rather than simply connecting you to a supplier. If something's wrong with a shipment, that's our problem to fix, not a factory's.

- What leather do you use, and is it genuine?
We use full-grain leather, the toughest and most durable layer of the hide, chosen specifically because it ages into a natural patina rather than cracking or peeling like corrected-grain or bonded leather.
- What GSM range do your cotton garments come in?
Our standard range is 180–280 GSM, the range best suited for durable, shape-holding garments.
- Which tea grades can you supply — CTC, Dust, or Orthodox?
We supply all three: CTC for strong, fast-brewing blends, Dust for tea bags and mass retail, and Orthodox for premium, specialty-grade buyers.
- Can you customize products — private labelling, custom packaging, specific colours?
Private labelling and custom packaging are available on request; confirm your requirements with us before sampling so we can quote accurately.

- What's your minimum order quantity?
MOQ depends on the product category — tell us your target volume and we'll confirm what's realistic for that specific item.
- Can I get a sample before placing a bulk order?
Yes — we recommend it. Requesting and physically checking a sample before confirming production is the single best way to avoid quality or sizing surprises later.
- How long does sampling take?
Typically 7–14 days depending on the product, plus shipping time to you.
- Do you charge for samples?
Samples are not charged, you only pay for shipping.
- How do I place an order once I've approved a sample?
Confirm your order details and quantities with us in writing, and we'll issue a proforma invoice outlining cost, payment terms, and timeline before production begins.

We currently accept LC (Letter of Credit) and TT (Telegraphic Transfer), confirmed per order.
- Do you require full payment upfront?
Yes — we operate on 100% advance, unless otherwise agreed.

- Do you handle shipping and customs documentation?
Yes — freight coordination and export documentation are handled end-to-end, including EU/UK-bound consignments, so you're not managing customs paperwork on your end.
- What Incoterms do you work with — FOB, CIF, or both?
We offer both FOB and CIF; CIF is usually simpler for first-time importers since we arrange and insure the shipping.
- How long does shipping typically take?
Roughly 5-7 weeks to Europe and 3-5 weeks to the Middle East by sea, depending on port and customs clearance.
- What documents will I receive with my shipment?
You'll receive a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, and — depending on the product — a certificate of origin or relevant quality/compliance certificate.

- How do you ensure quality since you're a new company?
Every order is personally inspected by our founding team before dispatch, and we share photo or documentation proof at each stage — precisely because we don't yet have years of reviews to rely on, so verification matters more, not less.
- What happens if a shipment arrives with a quality issue?
Contact us directly with photos of the issue — as the exporter of record, resolving it is our responsibility, not something we pass back to a factory.
